About Me:
I am a teacher of Greek and Latin, besides I am a musician. Together with my wife I am nicely living at Scheveningen, a Dutch coast village. I like teaching because I am giving to the kids something the value of which they only dimly understand. In due time they become aware of this with a shock of enthousiasm and I see that coming from afar. It's a bit like playing chess.
I like chess for the many possibilities each move reveals. I tend to play natural, but somewhat too spontaneous moves. I take great delight in moves that suddenly show a new, not previously noticed or cared for, side of the game. For better seeing those moves, I am trying to improve my level of playing.
