About Me:

Chess Enthusiast/Player, Accountant, blogger at http://chessthinking.com  http://iseeketh.wordpress.com, http://chessiq.blogspot.com High school, College, National Champion in Malawi when I was younger. Will get back to Chess when I have disposable income of $100,000 - will then devote 2 years to become a Chess Grandmaster. I stopped playing 1. e4 a few months ago to develop my understanding of 1. d4 and whatever comes after that. My favorite Chess Players are Fischer, Capablanca, Alekhine, Morphy, and Kasparov - in that order.

Highlights of 2008:

Winner of 2008 Mid-America Open (U2000 section)

Co-Winner of 2008 Chicago Open (U2100 section)

I have taken a break from chess and most other things to focus on passing the Certified Public Accountant [CPA] exam - hopefully, I will be done by the end of the year (2009).
