USCF Rating: 1247
My USCF rating is way, way underrated. My scholastic or northwest rating is 1718.
I have played chess since I was 6, and I thought it was fun. I thank my friend, apteryx, for introducing me to this site right after my birthday!
I also play the piano and the cello.
I also play on these other chess websites:
- www.chessmaniac.com (username: "cpctc")
- www.redhotpawn.com (username: "cpctc")
Please join: The Killer Derivatives, the team which contains the most "agressive" chess minds ever! We knock everyone away with our psychic powers!
Reasons why you should join:
1. We are an elite group!
- Rank #4 on the vote leaderboard!!!
- We have beaten many strong teams in vote chess such as The Power of Chess (ranked #1), CHESS SOCIETY (ranked #2), Chess Unlimited (ranked #5), Kairav's Chess Masters (Rank #7), and TURK CHESS PLAYERS (ranked #11)
- 96th percentile on the team match leaderboard!
- Our group average rating is over 1900.
- We win about 3/4 of our vote chess games, giving our opponents only 1/4 chance of winning!
2. We are making tons of progress!
- We have achieved sooo much since Feb. 2011. No other group has gone this far in vote chess in this short amount of time!
- Considering that we have been on this site for so little time and are already #4 on the vote leaderboard, there is no doubt we accomplish more than other groups!
3. Lots of competitive matches!
- About 75 vote chess games in progress right now (very few groups have half this amount). It gets better with every new game!
- Even with this many vote chess games, our quality of each game still overwhelms our opponents! (mentioned above that we win about 3/4 of our games)
4. Events/Group Activity Buzzing Around in the group!
- Math Forum -- Show off your nerdy skills! :P
- Lessons/Master Game/Puzzles are posted
- Ocassionally, we may have group tournaments!
5. No Spam! Very few alerts!
- Usually no more than five message alerts per day.
- There is almost never more than two news alert per month.
6. Many other benefits!
- You might get a trophy for joining and/or participating a lot!
- Special recognition for contributing a lot, including being promoted to admin!!!
The Only 2 Requirements:
- Rating of at least 1600 (used to be 1650)
- At least 50 member points
There are exceptions though! Please join The Killer Derivatives so you can be in the top group in this site!!!
