USCF chess Stats CXR chess Stats FiDE Chess Stats - I never played in FIDE tournament - soon! Home town San Antonio, Texas. I'm the oldest of eleven most of my family lives in San Antonio, Spent twenty years in the U.S. Air Force, worked for Radio Shack, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and currently a caregiver to a close friend! Like working computers / both maintenance and operations, reading, Internet, promoting chess,and go. Enjoy outdoor activities, such a sailing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, plan on hiking the AT in 2012, Also enjoying going to symphonies (hm forgot we have no symphony as of late 2009) and plays! Have about 3 years of college, no degree! CXR rating 1592, I have been playing chess since I was 15 (1969), was greatly influence by Bobby Fischer in his earlier days did every well in high school chess league.I tried college and decided to join the U.S. Air Force and my chess activities slowed down! I retired (USAF) in Hawaii in 1994 and started playing again and then was asked to help start a scholastic chess club at one of the private school in 2000. A few months later was asked to help direct the Windward Chess & Go Club in 2001 and then went on to others schools, due to being a caregiver presently have cut back in coaching, but still coach and direct the clubs mentioned. Play is about a Class B player most times. I also have been playing Go on and off and direct the Oahu Go Club.
