About Me:
An old professor of chemistry who plays chess. Now I write on my land, Friuli. Chess are not an important part of my life, but I play often. I like books and love E.A. Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, Dostojewskj and Cechov. I like very much science fiction, expecially the books of Theodore Sturgeon like 'Dreaming jewels' and 'More than human'. I have seen 50 or more times 'The hustler' with the great Paul Newman. Also, I am interested to the history of Vietnam war and of the Khe Sanh siege. I love my land too, green and sweet Friuli. I play pool and bridge, being not a champ. I smoke too much. I am happy for the victory of Obama! The world has to change. Anyway, whoever has been prisoner of the Vietcong is a friend of mines. I hate Sicilian with the black and the white and so I almost never open with the KP. I love French, near the only opening I play against e4.
