defenses I like to throw at certain opponents. These include, for example, the
French and the Dutch. | As for the FIDE rating, I am underrated. (200+ points).
I happened to screw up the tournament where a low initial FIDE rating (2007
July) originated from, and I have not had many opportunities to play rated OTB
games in individual tournaments. And even when I had, my sleeping disorder
interfered. So it will probably be years until the rating matches the play. || I
don't use a computer aid for analyzis during games, which is _forbidden_ anyway,
but I do use databases (correspondence, OTB) for the opening part of my games. |
I play here in order to improve analyzing skills and to practise favorite
openings, especially with the black pieces. | I prefer turn-based ("Online")
chess with a time control of 5 days per move. | I greet my opponent on move one,
but then I disable the _chat_ window. You can still write me _messages_, which I
read, and also answer if it is important, but I don't want to be distracted
