My friend once said "Chess is just a waste of time."
There are people who considers playing any game including Chess pure waste of time. In my opinion its not.
If Chess brings us friends from far away lands, excitement, fun and good sportsmanship; then its worth our time.
We are born and we die and between them important events of our lives time elapse more or less. As long as we felt happiness by playing Chess.... then.... nobody... but ... nobody can say it is a "waste of time."
