Yes, I disable chat. I know that offends some, but I really don't like to be distracted by religious or trump nonsense, or trolling in general.
And no, as general rule, I do not play rematches, regardless of whether I win or lose. I used to, but way too many times, after I granted a rematch after I won the first game, magically, as if by a miracle, the player's strength increased by 400+ points. Chess dot com has improved their cheating detection, and I've actually received messages saying points were added to my rating because they caught a cheater, maybe I'll change my stance on rematches some time in the future.
