I'm learning the game along with my young daughter. You'd think at almost 40, I would know my way around a chess board, but alas, I am struggling to keep up with her. I've known how the pieces move most of my life, but I never bothered to learn how to play well. Now that I have a child enthusiastic about the game, competing in tournaments, I want to learn with her. She & I are having fun, and that's all we aspire to do... have fun.
