- Retired as Income-tax /Sports officer conducting tournaments not only in chess but also other sports disciplines from Athletics to Weightlifting for Civil Services and Central Revenues Sports Board from Zonal to National
- A fortunate chess guru for Viswanathan Anand , 5-time world chess champion , in his formative ages and also to GM Baskar Adhiban at the start.
- Accompanied as official coach for both Anand ( World Juniors ,Helsinki and Llyods Bank, London ) Krishnan Sasikiran (Asian Juniors Under 16 Doha ) and the Indian Team ( Asian Championship, Cebu, Philippines, 2007))

8) He held organizational/ official posts in the Chennai District, Tamil Nadu State and All India Chess Federation.
9) He trained 1000s of chess children through Children’s Club, The Mylapore Club,Luz , P.S.Senior Secondary School , Solar Chess Club (all Mylapore) , Jain School(Vepery) to mention a few. He is even now at the age of 76 imparting chess to his students in Kameswaran Chess Academy, West Mambalam
10) He is a free lance chess journalist having reported for the PTI, UNI, The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Mail, The Sports Star, The Aside etc .
11) He is now the chief Administrator for a face book group “ World Chess News and Updates” with 6 year running and 21,500 members
12) Also associated with chess institutions for the Visually impaired , Physically handicapped and the silenced (hard of speech and hearing ) and their chess players
