About Me:
USCF: highest rating 2256; FIDE: highest rating 2150 in 1998. I have been playing USCF rated games since 1972, achieving my highest rating from 1985-87. Directed tournaments locally in San Diego from 1973 until 2008, and have assisted at the American Open, US Amateur team West, Western States Open in Reno, and several US Opens in Los Angeles and in Reno. I have enjoyed playing chess over the past five decades, win or lose, and hope to make it six!
