Occupation: Spanish Teacher, Seminary Student
A redeemed sinner, I am a follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of God, who gives me new life and calls me to repentance. He suffered the punishment for my sin, so that I am justified and the wrath of God is satisfied. I live to glorify Him, learning from Him through His Word how to live an authentic life of worship in Him.
I am a husband to my lovely wife, Angela.
I studied at Bowling Green State University for five years, with a major in Spanish Education. During my time there, I studied globalization in Mexico, taking a trip to Xalapa for a week. I also lived in Alcalá de Henares, Spain for 4 months.
I teach Spanish at the Knight Academy in Toledo, Ohio, where I also serve as the chess club adviser.
I started playing chess when I was in Boy Scouts. The other guys and I would challenge each other during campouts. I don't get the chance to play in person very often, because not many of my close friends and family play it. I like Chess.com for the chance to interact with other people and keep up my skills. Challenge me if you want!
Here's a recent game of mine.
