I am a student in Newham (olympic 2012 town) and I play chess because it suits my indoor, thinking nature. I learned the game while at a school chess club at the age of 12. But I have always been fascinated by the game since the first Harry Potter film came out with its wizard chess. The rules were too hard for me to grasp at the time. However for the past couple of years I have been studying the game vigorously and been promoting it at school by organizing tournaments which have suprisingly been a success.
