I used to play chess a lot when I was younger, but stayed at about the same level.  Now, I have more leisure time to read and improve.  I also have more patience with going slowly and digesting good material.

I'm relatively new to chess.com, but I like it a lot and also play fairly regularly with a group of good players near where I live.  I would like to improve my Elo, meet high quality people who are good chess players, particularly in my area.

I speak English, but I'm also pretty good and French and Spanish.  However, I would not say that I am fluent.  I enjoy many leisure activities and I feel fortunate to live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California (despite the high unemployment and cost of living)!

Whatever your level of play, I will treat you with respect.  I would like to play some group of people regularly and perhaps even assemble a Spanish or French speaking group as well.
