I got introduced to this ancient Indian marvel by my late brother, cousins & neighbors who chose to play chess when we weren't permitted to play outdoors. Since I couldn't afford to purchase books or hire a coach then, I taught myself by reading the analysis of the international games published in the newspaper. The next summer one of my aunts gifted me a chessboard and chessmen based on the theme of an Indian movie. Gradually, I started playing at a few school, college, university, corporate, and community-level closed tournaments. Lately, I've been conducting a few tournaments and training a few students online as well as offline. Thanks to chess.com, I've access to a treasure full of resources that help me improve daily. #NeverGiveUp
