I learned howto play chess when I was about 7 years old. I played a lot while I was in High School but never really studied the game. I have for years, played chess off and on, usually casual games. I have never played in tournaments nor have I been a member of an organized chess club but I am considering doing both. About a year ago, I renewed my interest in playing chess and started studing the game seriously, that was about the time I found Chess.com on the Internet and decided to join. I have learned a lot in the last year from the articles, news and other features available as well as by playing actual games against other players, which I believe is the best learning experience of all.
