I'm an amateur chess player. For a living I operate a banking website that offers savings account rates to its users.
A tip to savings account owners. In these economic times a lot of my readers are worried about bank failures, but really they're not as bad as they sound. In fact most customers can write checks, use their debit cards, and continue to make transactions throughout the process. If the bank is taken over, customers will get new checks and cards which is a pretty minor inconvenience considering the bank collapsed.
If any of you chess players have any finance or banking questions, I'm your man.
