For a little over a year now I've been coming to this site almost daily. It is a familiar story for many, ie, made a few friends, many acquaintances, won a few, lost a few more but have learned more than I would have ever thought possible. Without a doubt, the latter keeps me coming back time after time. Having never read any useful literature on chess until finding chess.com, describing myself as overwhelmed since being a member here would be quite the understatement. If a person is truly interested in this game, desires to play better chess, has an affinity for frustratingly complex problem solving and a competitive heart... well... welcome. If a member here has a desire to play better chess and has not explored chess mentor... then shame.
