Just started looking at chess in mid-40's, computer was hand me down so new to this also. Picked up chessmaster and was checkmated in 4 moves-it was either toss it in the garbage 'n walk away - or...I spent the next 4 months in the classroom and got hooked on the courses, when I ran out I googled chess one day and got here, membered up to start chess mentor.

Not that chess. com isn't busy enough - but they ask for suggestions. Daily puzzle is popular - what about following through a game (or parts)like chessmaster's match the masters; Googled chesslife thinking of subscribing and got sidetracked ...Read more »
