I learned to play chess when I was about 4 or 5 and I've played off and on over the years. I've never been great, and even though I've been improving, I still don't think I'm really that good. Nonetheless, I love to play and am always ready for another epic 64-square battle. My goal is to achieve a rating of 1500 or better, and someday (way down the line) maybe 2000.
I don't know enough about Chess to say whether I'm more of a tactical or positional player, but I tend to err on the side of being conservative rather than being aggressive. 1.e4 is my opening of choice as white, and I like to play the Sicillian as Black.
