I learn Chess while in army during Vietnam war from a Chinese friend. When we were not dodging bullets, we were playing chess. Never beat him, but he taugh me something to do in my old age and I think him for that. Sad, that I can see him now in my mind, but can't remember his name.
The worse part about growing old, is growing "OLD". 
I hope Chess will grow old with me...
