Hi, my name is David Petty. I'm a chess expert, and aspire to one day soon finally make my lifelong goal of "master" (only 45 rating points to go!). I hail from the Bay Area (CA!!), but currently live with my beautiful wife in Rochester, NY.

I used to be the main video editor for Chess,com, but I have recenly changed roles. Now I am the site manager of ChessKid.com, and I couldn't be happier!
