The first time I played chess was back in the late '90s when I was still a small boy in elementary school. I never embraced the game that much during my youth, but as a teenager in high school that all changed. I decided to join a chess club to engage in school activities and quickly gained attention when I defeated the club's chess instructor. In his words, he apparently was undefeated since he created the club 13 years ago, and he was so amazed at my game that he publicly announced my victory on the school's news. Many people began to talk about me, and shortly thereafter, he introduced me to Chess.com and I soon began to play chess online. Years later, I still play the game and have embraced the game more than ever. After all, chess is the oldest of all board games and remains the best strategic board game of all time.
