1st Scratch Chess Club Live Chess Championship

Hello all Scratchers,

I'm Dare-Dare, one of your administrators. I am here to offer a Live Chess Tournament to you. If I get enough "Yes, I would like to participate" responses by February 1st, then I will start this tournament! Basically, these are the rules:

1. Friend your opponent and go to live chess, select the "Friends" tab, and challenge him to a game.

2. All games will be 10 Minutes with a 10 Second Increment.

3. You have to finish your Live Chess game by a prespecified date.

4. Once the game is done, either both you AND your opponent have to post the result here, OR you can post the result here along with the URL of the game.

5. Games may be unrated or rated- it doesn't matter.

6. If games do not finish by the deadline, please post a comment here on WHY the game did not finish. Based on the reason, I will award a result, which may be a double forfeit if no reason is provided.

7. The winner after 6 rounds of play will be crowned the Scratch Chess Club Chess Champion!

2nd: Free Ten-Minute Game with a 1942 USCF player (me), and analysis of that game afterwards.

1st U1500: Free Ten-Minute Game with a 1942 USCF player (me), and analysis of that game afterwards.

1st U1250: Free Ten-Minute Game with a 1942 USCF player (me), and analysis of that game afterwards.
