Alright, sorry for the delay. I could not get online during the weekend due to the maintenance done by chess.com during that time.I highly recommend you to try out Live Chess 2 (I haven't) and see what took them so long to upgrade the system. It must be very good and highly efficient, I think.

Also, I hereby repeat that  "from this week onwards, I will proceed to post the puzzles without any introduction unless necessary. In its place will be the link to the forum "weeklypuzzles", where you can find links to previous puzzles."

Without any further delay, let us proceed to the puzzles!

PUZLES FOR WEEK 10:

Very Easy

Easy

This Easy puzzle is a rare one as it is actually taken straight from a position in a real game. And the checkmate is actually quite obvious!

Normal

smokealtaweed, a member of the Red Army, pointed out another shorter checkmate. White could simply take the Rook with the Bishop and checkmate on the second move without wasting time checking with the Rook. Thanks, smokealtaweed!

Hard

Be prepared, this is long. Really long. This is an in-depth research on how you can checkmate with only one Bishop and a King whereas two Bishops might not always guarantee an easy win.

Very Hard

Did you notice this week's puzzles are all checkmate puzzles? Well, the following one may well be the hardest. In truth, I find the Hard puzzle harder than this one, but more opinions show that this one is the hardest among them all. Enjoy!

Have fun!
