Upcoming Tournament on September 30th

As I mentioned in a previous e-mail, I will be hosting another Quick chess tournament on September 30th. Here are the details:
Location: University Center food court next to Extreme Pita, where the Tuesday night club meetings are.
Date/Time: September 30th, 12:30pm. I will be there for registration at noon.
Details: Time controls will be game in 30 minutes, sudden death. There will be at most 5 rounds, either swiss or round robin depending on number of entrants.
Entry fee is $10. The prize fund will be equal to the total of entry fees (I will cover rating fees myself as they are not very high for Quick chess). First prize will be equal to 65% of the fund, and best performance will be awarded the remaining 35%.
CFC membership is required to participate, which is priced at $44 per year for an Adult membership, and $29 per year for Juniors (younger than 20 by January 1st of the current year). This fee can either be paid online or directly to me the day of the tournament. If you purchase a membership to play Sunday then your entry fee of $10 will be waived (this is only for new members, not renewed memberships).
There will be a scheduled break after Round 2 for eating etc. The expected finish for the tournament will be around 6pm (this is accounting for the break).
If you intend on playing in this tournament, please let me know and I will pre-register you. This will make things much smoother come the day of the tournament. If you know anyone who would be interested in playing, feel free to pass this information along. I will be bringing printed copies of this e-mail to chess club at the UC tomorrow night as well.
