WL2015 Round 1 Pairings for Team Ghana - Let the Games Begin

Welcome!  Here are the World League 2015 Round 1 pairings, the first round of this new season.

Here are some reminders about the 2015 season:

1. Please set the Minimum Games completed to 10.  This will help prevent no shows when the matches begin.
2. Team match scores will be adjusted for all closed accounts, regardless of reason.  A player whose opponent's account is closed will receive 2 points.  If both accounts are closed, the points will be split 1:1 regardless of the actual result.
3. Please use the start time feature in WL match challenges in order to start all matches by 09:00 Pacific Time on the designated lock date, unless you have arranged an earlier start time with your opponent. Failure to start your match on time will result in forfeit of the match.  Please post to the Match Issues forum thread if this happens. Once forfeited, the match may still be played as a friendly (non-league) match. 
4. No player may be removed from a World League match unless they are playing for another team or they have a high timeout percentage of over 25%.  Team match score adjustments will be made for repeat violators of the one team per season rule.
5. Adjusted match scores will be displayed at www.chessleagues.com, which will be updated daily during the season.

From the list below, send a team match challenge to your opponent with details as follows:

• Starting Position: Standard Starting Position
• Days per Move: 3 days
• Quick Description: The challenges should be accepted by January 8, and matches started by January 15, 09:00 Pacific Time.
• Minimum Games: 10
• Players per Team:  see minimum listed below for each division
• Concurrent games per opponent: 2
• Games are RATED

The challenges should be sent out immediately so that they may be accepted no later than Thursday, January 8, and matches started no later than Thursday, January 15.  If you are having difficulties starting the match, try to get in contact with their representatives (WL2014 Teams and Representatives).  Please post links to your games in the WL2015 Match Links thread.

If you notice that the other team has players who are also playing in other World League matches, please inform your opponent's admins and resolve the issue before the match begins. Please encourage players in your group to sign up for the match by posting an announcement in your group's Notes or forum. If you notice problems with the minimum number of players, admins not responding, low rated players being excluded, etc., please report them in the WL2015 Match Problems thread.  If you have suggestions on how the World League format could be improved, you can post them to the World League Suggestions thread.
