Hi, it's nice to see a cstrike group in chess.com :)

My first experience with counter-strike was probably version 1.1, while I was looking for some mods of half-life 1. It was a huge shock, I've never seen any FPS games with such realistic depiction of real guns.(no match for the realism of the most recent FPSs, of course...)

I've played for a fairly long time. I think my overall skill is at middle-high level...never been in a standard 5:5 match. I'm comfortable with all kinds of weapons. All kinds of DECENT weapons, to be more precise :)

I'm an odd player because I have a somewhat stupidly stubborn obsession with using Steyr Scout. I used to hate that AWP conquered the game, so I wanted to prove I could rock otherwise. Using Scout was kinda handicapping myself, but I think it also forced me to improve. Learning to move around fast and evasive, aim heads through the wall, be prepared to fight with pistols whenever necessary, etc...

I gave up the Scout once I learned that its accuracy is far from pinpoint when standing :( Too bad.

Anyway, I'm just curious about game experiences of you all. Introduce yourselves plz!
