10 Minute Speed Vote Chess

Hi Folks,

Our December match opponent in the above tournament is Chess Unlimited (SVC).

We/they have sheduled this Saturday 17th December @ 15:00GMT as game-time; I hope this is convenient for all. {You can RSVP here if you like}

We are on one (1) point from our well earned draw last month, and 'all-hands' are needed on deck because our opponents are on (3) from their initial win.

The game is scheduled for Sat 17th Dec, @ 3:00pm GMT(London). That is 11:00am Atlantic USA & Caribbean; 12:00pm Argentina, Brasilia; 4:00pm Berlin, Madrid, Paris or Prague; 5:00pm Athens, Cairo, Pretoria; 6:00pm Baghdad, Nairobi, Moscow; 7:00pm Abu Dhabi, Tbilisi, Kabul; 8:00pm Islamabad, Mumbai; 9:00pm Bangkok, Jakarta; 11:00pm Beijing, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Phillipines; 12:00am Tokyo, Seoul; 1:00am Brisbane, Sydney; 3:00am Auckland, Fiji; 5:00am Hawaii; 7:00am Pacific USA.

You are invited to join the voting at any time/shift convenient to you during any part of the game. If you can't be there at the start - be there at the finish!

The voting goes on at a hectic pace but it's still only 3 moves an hour - 10min each side @ 20min per move; these games can last an estimated 8-24 hours, one of our games lasted 19 hours! We are hopeful our team will cover all time zones.

One thing of note, it's best when in the game to keep a dedictated game window open because you may miss alerts and the screen does not automatically refresh. A game link will be provided through our homepage before the games starts.

Some persons have volunteered to act as 'Coordinators' during the game. We shall appreciate it if you work with them. This is just as we are accustomed doing in our regular games. Coordinators take the primary responsibility for leading the vote discussion; posting the consensus vote for each move or line(series of moves).
