1WL Geo Tournament R1 Announcement
I am pleased to announce the club's entry into the 1WL (One World League) GEO Tournament. This will run between June and December and is for regional teams from around the world with membership of 300 or less. Details are in this forum https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/1wl-geo-tournament-3?
This will fill the time between the end of the County Championship (last match starts 7th July) and the beginning of the 2022 season (probably in December 2021). I think this is a fun tournament for all members if you want to play some competition chess over the County Championship Break, but I won't be putting heavy pressure on. We need 5 players minimum to avoid forfeit.
