2021 Vote Chess Championships - Rules/Guidelines

Hey guys! Here with the Official Rules of 2021 Vote Chess Championships. Please Read thoroughly. There is some important information here.

Format:

32 Team Elimination

Round Length:

<2 Months

Days/Move:

24 Hours

# of Rounds:

6 (First Round will have no elimination and will be a practice round.)

Round 1

For Round 1 your team could be place with any club in the competition. It will be randomly chosen by Random Number Generator.
If a club faces a draw in any of the rounds in the future the winner of this first round will pass on. This is the basis of the bonus Round.

Round 1 is the "pre-war" Competition. If you lose it isn't very bad and your team is still in the competition, only it has a wound.

This Round (Unlike the others) will last all the way until every game is completed completely.

Elimination

Above it says 2 Months is the length of each Round. Here I will explain how this works.

Each Vote Chess game played will be a maximum of 30 Moves long (Unless Option #3 must be chosen)

Most Matches will already be over by the end of 2 Months, but the ones that aren't this rule will apply:

• Option #1
  If one side is clearly winning (+5 evaluation) then that team is no longer bound by the game and passes on. If it is lower than 5 in favor of one team then this rule does not apply. Blunders may happen after move 30 that won't ruin your match
• Option #2
  In the Event that the evaluation is Under +5 or -5 and the game is clearly not in the bag  the Winner of Round 1 Will pass on.
• Option #3
  Let's say that both teams won their first Round. At this point we have a couple choices for the Super Admins to follow:
  1: Let the Match Continue until the evaluation reaches 5 on either side
  2: Organize a Live Match with each other to decide the winner of the round
  3: @Nightly-Knight makes an exception and a different action is taken.

With this Rule Round 1 Could be the Most important Round of the Whole event, so be prepared! The Bracket will not be used until Round 2 when the actual event begins

Draws

Draws can happen quite frequently. In cases of Draws here is what happens:

Round 1 - Smaller club wins

Round 2-5 - Bigger Club Wins (Knockout 1, 2 and 3 and Semi-Finals)

Round 6 - Smaller Club Wins (Finals)

Promotion

@Clubwars-2021 MUST be promoted to Admin in your club if your club is competing in this event. Failure to do so will result in ejection from the Championships. Please follow the rules to keep this a fun and competitive competition.

General Posts will be made here and in the Club War's Blog that you can copy/paste into your own news post and edit to your own liking.

Arguing

• Players Should not argue with other players regarding any situation.

•   The decision of the administration on any issue is final

• This should not be debated within the group.

• You may, however, politely petition the administration for a review of the decision via Private Messages.

• Constant arguing and complaint may result in a member's ejection from the club.
