2024 Season Round Up

Although some of our matches from this year are still ongoing and in the balance, I am running out of days to round up our year, so here is the situation at present.

Overall we played 27 matches, with 12 wins, 3 draws and 14 losses but we have maintained our places in the various leagues and still have an outside chance of a Championship.

County Championship 2024

We had a mixed season in the top divsion of the County Championship which was won by Kent. We lost our fixture aginst them 35-29, so were not so very far off the pace. Overall we finished 6th, with 3 wins, a draw and 5 defeats.

European Inter Regional Championship

We won our group stage with 3 wins out of 3, which gives us automatic qualification for the 2025 competition.

In the Final (group) we are still in with a chance of winning the Championship with the current scores 13-13 against Saxony (15 boards), 25.5-29.5 against Kent (37 boards) and 10-3 against Buckinghamshire (15 boards). Good luck to all those still playing.

2004 County Cup

We were knocked out in the second round by Inverness who are currently leading Kent in the final and who were promoted to the top division of the County Championship for 2025.

County Championship U1600

We only won 2 of our 7 fixtures in Division 4, but narrowly avoided relegation by finishing 6th.

County Championship U1300

We finished 3rd in Division 4 with 3 wins, a draw and 2 defeats.
