2025-27 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Guys this club is participating in 2025-27 Club Championship

Here's how it works-

The Club Championship is a cycle every 2 years, with clubs playing each other in random pairings to fight for the top rankings on our leaderboard, and eventually a chance to play in the finals in 2027, as well as qualifications for numerous tournaments throughout the two year cycle. The championship features three different forms of the game; Vote Chess, Daily Chess, and Multi-Club Tournaments. What will make this unique is that you will be allowed to pick your own competitors, as long as you play 10 games of Daily and Vote Chess per year (2025 will be not counted). All clubs that register are required to play in the Vote Chess and Daily Chess rankings.

VOTE CHESS SYSTEM:

With the exception of official tournaments throughout the cycle, clubs can rise up the Vote Chess Rankings by playing either another club or in a tri-series against two other clubs. For normal fixtures against another club, you will play more than one game at once. The default is two, although if both clubs agree, three games can be played. The time format is 24 hours for all normal fixtures. For tri-series, these will be organized randomly and will be round-robin, where you will play one match against each of the other two clubs, and the club with the most points will win the tri-series and gain an additional 3 points for their rankings. 

Scoring System:

WIN = +12 Points

DRAW = +4 Points

LOSS = 0 Points

DAILY CHESS SYSTEM:

Daily Chess games will only be played against one other club at at time, although you can be playing 2 clubs at once if you want. Once the whole match against a club has concluded, you are allowed to start a new match against a new club. You are only allowed to play the same club TWICE in this championship, and it cannot be back to back. 

Scoring System:

WIN = +12 Points

DRAW = +4 Points

LOSS = 0 Points

Rankings are determined by percentage, not by point. This is so that clubs cannot just schedule as many matches as they can. Percentages will be determined by the following formula: Points / (Games Played * 12)
