Individuals

Open (Cash - $200 & Trophy for 1st, $100 & medal for 2nd; $50 & medal for 3rd)

U1200 (Trophy for 1st and medals for 2nd and\ 3
rd)
U800 (Trophy for 1st and medals for 2nd and\ 3
rd)

Teams

Teams can have any desired number of players,
but the top 4 players’ scores will determine finish
(Medals awarded to the top four players of the winning team)
$30 for individual/ $100 for team – early bird rate
After 11:59 p.m. Oct. 29 - $40 individual/ $120 for team
To Register: Players must provide their NAME,
Active Chess Federation ID#, desired SECTION,
and desired METHOD of PAYMENT

An email response will be sent within 24-48 hours after first contact.
***Please advise if participating with a team or organizing a team.
Leaders should provide team name & members with active ID#s.***
These payment methods are strongly preferred in advance,
but cash, check can be accepted on site: PayPal, Venmo, CashApp

Everyone is encouraged to bring chairs for lounging.

leading up to the event.

Registration and Check-in - 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.

Welcome and Briefing of Rules - 9:15 a.m.

Round 1 - 9:30 a.m.
Round 2 – 11:30 a.m.
Round 3 - 1:30 p.m.
Round 4 - 3:30 p.m.

Awards – To be presented after all games are completed.
*Byes due to inability to pair = 1.0 *Requested byes = 0.5
Please make requests before start of desired round.

No requested byes in final round

Tiebreakers will be held to determine first place awards only;
Computer will settle ties in 2nd, 3rd places; Cash prizes will be split.

Two-way tie: Best-of-Three G/5+0;
Three-way tie: round robin format;
Armageddon process used if needed;
TEAM POINT CALCULATIONS

A team may include more than 4 players among any sections desired.

Only top four players’ scores will be used; Individual tie breaks will not impact team scores.

Wins = 1.0 point Draws = 0.5 point
