2nd Blitz tournament - postponed last week
I'd like to invite all Nokia lovers of the royal game for 2nd Blitz Tournament in chess season 2020/2021 (postponed last week), which is the continuity of New Blitz Tournament Series on chess.com organised by our Nokia Chess Club aimed by the Swiss system for Nokia employees and their families.
Beginning of the 2nd Blitz Tournament (like usual): WEDNESDAY (16th September 2020) 8:00 PM CEST (registration to the starting list from 7:00 PM CEST)
To participate in the tournament please:
1. Sign up a free or paid account on chess.com
2. Join our club: here - when enrolling in the club, please provide the data needed to write a relation from the event: your name and surname.
After admin's acceptance of the club membership, you can sign up to the starting list one hour before the tournament starts - from 7:00 (2/09/2020) by clicking on the link below :
and then "Join".
If you are club member already it is enough to click on above link and then click "Join".
1. The tournament will start automatically at 8:00 PM CEST and will last less than 2 hours.
2. We will play at a rate of 5'+ 3", 7 rounds with the Swiss system. In the event of low turnout the number of rounds may be reduced.
3. The person with the most points wins. In the case of an equal number of points, supportive scoring (tie-break points) will be considered.
4. Please play in the spirit of fair play, without the use of support programs. Any abuse detection will result in removal from the tournament and club.
5. Each participant by subscribing to the tournament agrees to publish his personality for the purpose of summary report on yammer.
