Rules of the 2nd Funtastic Chessmates! Tourament

           As some of you may know, our 2nd Funtastic Chessmates! Tournament is coming up quickly! It may seem like the first tournament just started, but in 6 days, we will send out the first set of invites for the 2nd tournament! Our second tournament will have these settings:

1. 2 days per move
2. Maximum 48 players
3. 12 players per group
4. 1 player advances per group
5. Minimum of 2 games.
6. Maximum timeout percentage is 50%.
7. You will play 2 games against your opponent.
8. This tournament is Invite Only. Only players from this group will be invited.
9. This tournament is open to players of all levels.
10. This tournament is open to players of all move speeds.
11. Start time: May 10, 2009, or the day after the end date of the first tournament. This helps prevent non-premium members from not being able to join, because they are already in the first tournament.
12. Starting position: Standard
13. Games are rated.
14. This tournament, unlike the first tournament, will use Tie-Breaks.
15. This tournament is open to all regular members, not just premium members.
16. Custom trophies are not used.
17. You will play ~22 simultanious games, but this number will be much less if fewer than 48 members register.
18. The 1st set of invitations will be sent out on March 29th.
19. The 2nd set of invitations will be sent out on May 5th.
20. The tournament starts on May 10th, 2009, or the day after the end date of the first tournament. A 3rd set of invitations will be sent out on the end date of the 1st tournament, if the 2nd tournament had to be delayed because of this.
    

         I hope you can all join. I will be sending multiple invitations to members because a basic (not premium) member can only participate in one tournament at a time.
