2nd Online Above 2000 FIDE Rating players’ Classical Chess Tournament
We all set ready to organise the 2nd edition of Above 2000 FIDE Rating players’ Online Classical Chess Tournament. It will start from September 10 to 18.
Registrations will be accepted until 9th September, 9AM GMT/UTC. Players meeting will be conducted one day before the Tournament start time through Whatsapp chat.

It is a 9 round tournament for nine days and each round starts at 9.00 AM GMT/UTC. The tournament start time for different time regions within Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia are as follows

These are the Best practices followed at the first edition of the tournament conducted in the month August and the same will continue at this tournament as well.
- Created a 'Tournament Whatsapp Group' with the players, Arbiter, chess.com India head and the organisers
- Conducted the Player meeting through Whatsapp chat one day before the first round start time
- Published the 1st round pairings at chess-results one day before the round
- All the players’ login to chess.com 'Live Chess' (https://www.chess.com/live) 10 minutes before the start of each round and it helped the chess.com team start the games on time automatically
- Published the pairings of each round at chess-results soon after the completion of the round and intimated to all the players through 'Tournament Whatsapp Group'
- Dissolved the 'Tournament Whatsapp Group' after confirming the final results in order to protect the privacy of the players
