3000 m

Today, I had a run. But it was not normal… I went to school as usual and then, 3 girls said, that the final run is today. Nobody in our school knew it, no teacher planned anything. Why I say final: There was a run with everyone in my district (Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf). I got to the Top 15 and qualified for the final. And I didn’t even know that it was today! Yeah, I started then and randomly had to run 2600 m (in the qualifying 3000 m). But WITHOUT ANY TRAINING!!! We started with a transponder, so I waited a bit and started at last, because I didn’t want to be stopped by the big (slow) field. We ran through an allotment association (?) (To all Germans: I mean “Kleingartenverein”) and ended up running into the stadium (three quarters of one round (btw I got skipped by some guys). I ended up 83rd with 10:54,80 (or similar). Yeah, it was pretty bad, but… actually, I’m the 83rd in BERLIN!!! I mean, top 100 in the capital city of Germany!
