3rd Annual Daily KOTH tournament

Like the past two summers, we will be holding our daily KOTH tournament. You may say KOTH is not possible in daily, but it is. The format is a single elimination tournament. The first 16 players expressing their interest as a comment in this announcement will participate. In each round, you and your opponent will play a 2-game match (simultaneously one as Black and the other as White). It will be 1 day/move unrated. Daily standard chess will be selected, but if you get your king to the middle, you simply indicate it to your opponent (and/or to me) and the game is over. If the two games are split, a mutually convenient 2-game Rapid (10 min) KOTH match will be scheduled as a tiebreaker. Participants will be seeded according to their live KOTH rating on the first day of the tournament (~1 week from now).  

I will check for cheating and suspicious play should be reported to me. Also, if your opponent goes on vacation with <=30 minutes on his clock, take a screenshot. This counts as a loss. I would like to discourage use of vacation time since we would like to wrap this tourney up by November, if possible.
