THANK YOU!

     The Chaturaji Chess Team has reached 500 members! It has been a long journey from when this club was created back in September 2024, and it would not have been possible without so many people having been willing to join and participate. The Chaturaji Chess Team is currently the largest club on chess.com dedicated to this variant by over 150 members and the only one that is consistently active.

     Several things are in store for us moving forward. Firstly: more partnerships, which will hopefully bring even more members! On this special occasion we are partnering with the 64 Square Society, although in the coming days many more partnerships will be appearing.

     Secondly: more daily chess and standard chess arenas/tournaments. We used to do arenas and Swiss Tournaments every week, but as interest and participation in these events went down, eventually they were cancelled. They are coming back now, although they will be more infrequent. My current plan is to run an arena or tournament for the club once a week, probably on Saturday or Sunday (EST). If anyone has a specific time that would work for them, please comment it down below.

     Thirdly and finally, the administrative team is likely going to be expanding. If you are interested in helping the club by fulfilling administrative functions, please send me a DM.

     Thank you all so much for making this club successful. It is my sincerest hope that it will not only continue to be so but that it will expand even more than it has since last year, and I look forward to seeing many familiar faces in the lobby.
