Hi Everyone, in the spirit of making us all better chess players. I believe watching this video (link is below) will help improve your skills and/or thinking process.

In this video GM Igor Smirnov analyses one of his student’s game. He explains ideas and principles behind each move that can be universally applied to any other game in chess.

Key ideas/ principle in the video:

  1. Move forward and attack something
  2. Principle of the least active piece
  3. Neutralization
  4. To take is a mistake
