A shoebill stork  is an endemic to the swamps and wetlands of central and east Africa. That bill you see in this picture is about 20 cm long and nearly as wide. It acts like a massive container for fish, small birds and even snakes which it hunts in the swamps. The shoebill also claps its bill to attract mates and chase away intruders. There is literally nothing like this bird in the animal kingdom and it belongs to its own family (Balaenicipitidae) locates anatomically between storks and herons, but its skull looks more like a pelican! When it hunts the shoebill will literally stalk the water slowly and suddenly collapse its entire bill and body weight at the fish, snake or bird below it.
