An Announcement

Hello, KOTL folks. My name is hitthepin, and today I bring to you some important news. 

Recently, on this thread, the chess.com user known as @Nylonsock and I came to an agreement. This agreement states that us, the KOTL community, will create no more new KOTLs, in exchange for Nylonsock to not bad-mouth us any longer.

I made this agreement with him because, in case you don't know, Nylonsock is a relatively big force on the forums. If he says that KOTL is bad, then many people might very well believe him without even a second thought. In doing so, we lose out on many players, posts, and activity that we might have gotten. 

I've asked him to stay mum, and in return, all we have to do is not make any new KOTLs. This should be more than possible, considering that nearly everybody has one of their own, and there are thirty-six in total. This should be more than enough for us, and we do not need any more. 

So, to reiterate, I would like to politely request that we as a group not make any more new KOTLs, as least for a little while. Quality over quantity, my friends. Focus on what we have right now, and then we will prosper.

UPDATE: 

After less than a day, Nylon has already broken his agreement with us. You guys know what that means. 

Open the floodgates. It’s time to make more KOTLs.
