Announcing Our Very Own Summer Championships!

Fellow Whizzes, 

We have not been doing well in terms of social activity so I have organized a big championship that will be held every year during the summer to hype y'all up. 

The Championship will be held in all of the formats except Variants, so you may join whichever you'd like. 

First off we have our DAILY CHESS version of the championships! There is 5 days per move and NO VACATION. Join fast, the venue is 100 members.

Now, we have our RAPID LIVE CHESS version of the championships! The time control is 6SS (6 rounds) 10|0 and the tournament starts July 15th at noon, EDT (eastern daylight time).

Next up, we have our BLITZ LIVE CHESS version of the championships! The time control is 7SS (7 rounds) 5|2 and the tournament starts July 16th at noon, EDT (eastern daylight time). NOTE that all the live chess formats will be held consecutively from July 15th daily at the same time but on the next day each time. The starter is the rapid.

And lastly, we have our BULLET LIVE CHESS version of the championships! The time control is 15SS (15 rounds) 1|0 and the tournament starts July 17th at noon, representing the conclusion of the live Chess portion of the tournament.

Please note all the tourneys will be rated for now unless I deem it necessary to change it to unrated.

Most of you may ask what the prizes are. My response to that is that there will be no membership giveaways connected to this event or otherwise; however, I still need to evaluate and take other prizes such as personal trophies by me into consideration. I will notify you all when that happens and I make a decision on this matter.
