In the first half of the day, the Clash of Clans' Barbarian Club will face off against Clash Royale's Red King Club in a Bullet Chess Arena! You'll have 1 minute to show your skills in each game - no increment!

Like always, the first-place winner will not only earn a limited edition "Clash x Chess" T-shirt, but also receive a Clash Bundle, depending on their club allegiance – King Club or Barbarian Club. Players finishing in 2nd and 3rd place will also take home the rare "Clash x Chess" T-shirt!

How To Play Spell Chess
- There are two spells: Jump and Freeze.
- Players have a limited number of spells, which recharge after a few moves.
- Cast spells have a set duration.
- Players can cast a spell before making a regular chess move.
- The Jump is applied to one square. If there is a piece on that square, other pieces can jump over that charmed piece.
- The Freeze is applied to a 3x3 square area. Pieces situated in the frozen area cannot move. However, other pieces can move into and through that area, and can also capture frozen pieces. Any piece that lands in a frozen area becomes frozen.
- Frozen pieces do not check or checkmate kings. Thus, you can use the Freeze to temporarily cancel checks.
