We're excited to announce the 2025 Chess Improvement Challenge Rewards, a new initiative to recognize and celebrate your hard work on your chess improvement journey. Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an experienced player honing your craft, this is your chance to shine—and win!
Who Can Win?
We’re awarding prizes in two skill-level categories: Beginner/Intermediate (up to 1200) and Intermediate/Advanced (1200+). The prizes will be:
1. Improver of the Month
Recognizing individuals who actively participate in the challenge, make progress toward their goals, and share their journey! An active presence in the club or on social media is a big plus!
2. Video of the Month
Recognizing participants who create and share great video content (and/or livestreams) about their chess improvement journey.
3. Post of the Month
Recognizing the best forum post, blog social media thread, or other post content sharing a great improvement story or starting a great discussion!
How To Participate?
To be considered for a prize, share your improvement journey with us! Submit your video, blog post, or study path using this form.
When evaluating submissions, our committee of Chess.com staff will look for the following:
- Clear communication
- Your story about chess improvement, no matter the level
- Style and creativity
- Bonus points for humor!

Winners in all categories mentioned above will receive an amazing rewards package, including:
