Announcing The Winter Solstice
The longest night of the year will occur on December 21. It’s known by astronomers as the winter solstice. In Boise, we will see more than 15 hours of darkness. But don’t despair. ICA is here to brighten up your solstice! On Monday, December 21 at 10am Boise time, ICA will hold this year’s Winter Solstice Tournament. It’ll be open to all US Chess members, will be in our usual online-classic format 4SS G/30+5 and will be hosted on Chess.com. Don’t worry, your boss ain’t going to notice you sneaking in a few online rounds.
