Apologies for current lack of tournaments

Hello everyone! I thought I should make a post explaining the lack of tournaments in this club recently. I have a few reasons, so here we go:

1. I’m a high school senior, and with the year coming to a close, I have a ton of schoolwork and a few exams to study for, so I’ve been super busy with that.

2. My place of work had been short-staffed the last few weeks, so I’ve been putting in extra hours to help out(and for the money)

3. I’ve been tasked with running some major over-the-board tournaments recently(the biggest that I’ve run in April have been the Midwest Open and the Iowa Championships)

4. I’ve also been tasked with running the Iowa Chess website, so that’s taken a lot of time too.

I should be able to schedule a lot more when June comes around, but until then, I’ll run the tournaments that I can. I apologize if this inconveniences anyone, but it’s not super easy to juggle all of this right now.
