Bradford Lockdown #3 - 5+5 Swiss - 6 rounds

Mike Bramson made it 2/2 in the BDCA Lockdown tournaments, sweeping aside all his competition in dominating the Arena format, winning his first 11 games in a row. Mitchell Burke finished 2nd and Dale Cullum 3rd.

Thanks to all who have provided feedback. Opinion seems split on those who prefer the Arena format and those who prefer the Swiss format. Bearing that in mind, I'll probably look to alternate between the two formats.

The 3rd Lockdown tournament will be a 6-round Swiss tournament played at the time control of 5 minutes for the whole game with a 5 second increment after every move. This time control means that each player has 10 minutes of thinking time for a 60 move game.

As usual the tournament will be open to enter from 6.30pm on Tuesday 14th April and I will post the link to enter in here, or you'll be enter from the Live Chess page.
