Hey, I feel like I've been playing a lot of variants lately!

Anyways, a Bughouse game

I think he would have escaped checkmate by going to e7 instead of d8, but he would still have lost a rook. HOWEVER. When I made the move before checkmate I only had around 25 secs left, and anyone who knows me knows that I CANNOT checkmate in 25 seconds, unless it is a basic winning endgame. So, yeah. If he just went to e7 he might have won.

Also, this person actually beat me in bughouse once, so REVENGE! (check my archive)
